CARE & REPAIR WEEK 2008

Care & Repair exists to enable older and vulnerable disabled owner-occupiers/private tenants to remain in their own homes by giving advice and practical assistance on home repairs and adaptations helping them to remain in their own homes in safety and security.

Care & Repair Week was held from the 14 th January – 18 th January 2008 . Denbighshire Care & Repair as part of the campaign visited Ruthin Library. During the day those visiting were given information and advice on the agency’s services and were asked to participate in the ‘Tiddlywinks’ Project. The aim of the year long project is to enable people to ‘Have Your Say’ regarding which three things from a list (all relating to being able to remain living in your own home) are important to them as they get older.
