Community Development




The work of Tai Clwyd Association's Community Development Team's work involves:

  • Helping tenants groups/community groups become more active and to participate and instigate initiatives aimed at making their communities safer, more harmonious and generally nicer places to live.
  • Identify the needs of the community and explore how these needs can be met.
  • Working with tenants/community members and other agencies to improve services.
  • Offer advice and signpost tenants to essential services.
  • Helping tenants' associations/community groups to access funding and training un their community.
  • Working in partnership with others to tackle problems such as anti-social behaviour at a community wide level.
  • Developing local initiatives and solutions to local problems affecting the community.
