Excellent Gardener

One brave man regarded taming the wild garden in Felin Uchaf, Dolgellau, as a challenge. Ray Stubbs was looking for a project to focus on after completing his own garden, and the fact that he lost a leg to cancer wasn’t going to deter him either. Ray moved to a Tai Clwyd property following his illness, and after conquering his own garden and making it convenient for him to use his wheelchair, he decided to persuade his fellow councillors in Dolgellau to support his request to take responsibility for the communal garden in Felin Uchaf. With the support of another gentleman, Mr Faulkner, the first phase of the project has been completed. With further local support Ray Stubbs hopes that the garden will develop further over the coming months and years.
