2009 Roadshow - Gwynedd and Powys

The annual Roadshow took place in Powys and Gwynedd in May with a mixture of consultation and activities taking place; including face painting, t-shirt printing and a chance to meet Tôni, our new Tai Clwyd mascot.

Over the 3 days, we spoke to 103 tenants, which is 33% of our tenant population within the two counties. Once again it proved to be an excellent opportunity for tenants to meet staff and discuss any issues face to face. This year for the first time a member of the management team was present every day and both tenants and the management team alike agreed that this should be repeated year on year.

One of the aims of the Roadshow is to promote and encourage tenants to put their name forward to represent their fellow tenants on the Board of Management - this year 8 tenants showed an interest. We also received 30 new names for our Tai Clwyd 50 membership and many ideas came forward to develop community projects. A very high majority of tenants that we spoke to were very happy with the overall service they received from Cymdeithas Tai Clwyd. Next year the Roadshow will return to Denbighshire.
