TENANT’S DISCO

On the 9 th November 2009 another disco was held at the Beaufort Park Hotel in Mold. The disco was held in partnership with Clwyd Alyn Housing Association and First Choice Housing Association. The disco was arranged for tenants with care and support needs and they attended with family and carers.

During the evening there was an opportunity for the tenants to give their views on the house were they live and the association as well as entertainment and a raffle.

Of those who replied to our questionnaire:-

100% said they liked the house were they lived.

This year for the first time Cymdeithas Tai Clwyd arranged an Art Competition for its tenants. We asked the tenants to tell us about their home, pet or staff in the form of a painting, drawing, poem, story, photograph or video. The award was given to Maureen Jones for her selection of 3 paintings of the house she lives in.

Look out for the invitations for the next disco which is to be held on the 6 th May 2010 and there will also be another competition.
