The Community Development team not only starts projects in the community, we also support existing and ongoing projects.

The Association worked closely with the group FRAKAS (Fairbourne Recreational And Kids Action Society) to create a new play area at Fairbourne, near Dolgellau. We supported the project by making a financial contribution and attending the monthly meetings, to offer advice and assistance when it was needed. The playground was opened in June 2005 with the Fairbourne steam train, full of children and young people from the local community witnessing the grand opening.
