Cymdeithas Tai Clwyd’s Local Tenant Participation Strategy was approved by the Board of Management in December and launched during our Working Group Meeting in February. The strategy which has been developed by the Working Group which comprises of tenants, staff and Board members has been the fruit of morethan 12 months work , and although we have complied with the National guidelines in its development, we have primarily focused on Cymdeithas Tai Clwyd’s principles which we hope is highlighted in the Strategy and Action Plan. We will be focusing in the immediate future on mainstreaming tenant participation throughout the Association’s work and have already elected a Tenant Participation Champion on the Management Board and in each department within the Association. This will ensure that our participationactivities will be integrated within all our landlord functions and that the strategy is given the appropriate status it needs in order to fulfil its aims and objectives.
